Is BC Sips made by BC Liquor Stores?
No. BC Sips is an independent app. It isn't made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by BC Liquor Stores, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch or the Government of British Columbia.
Where do prices and stock come from?
From the public BC Liquor Store price list (Open Government Licence – British Columbia) and the BC Liquor Stores website, updated every night. Stock counts are estimates, so please call the store to confirm before a special trip.
Do I need an account?
No. Your lists, ratings and notes stay on your device and sync privately through your own iCloud.
What does the free week include?
Everything in Plus, for seven days from your first download. After that the app keeps working on the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
Does it work on iPad and iPhone Duo?
Yes. BC Sips is made for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. On iPad and the open iPhone Duo it uses the bigger screen, with bottle pages in two columns (lined up with the fold on iPhone Duo).
Is it for everyone?
BC Sips is for adults of legal drinking age (19+ in BC). Please enjoy responsibly.
